Oil Glut? Here Comes Some More!  Good for Alaska!

BY CLIFFORD KRAUSS

Oil finds in Texas and Alaska come at a time when the industry is struggling with low prices and faces pressure to leave hydrocarbons in the ground.

While America’s Obama Attacks Coal, Oil, Gas and Pipelines, Canada’s Trudeau Taxes Energy During A Low Price Era

The enviro-industrial-governmental cabal now seems to control the energy agendas in both the U.S. and Canada.  Our great nations will fall to their knees if this primary source of wealth for North America — domestic energy exploration, production and pipeline transportation — is not protected from socialist hegemony.
The socialist/globalist cabal corrupts the honest conservation community, the corporate world and the highest levels of government.
Recognizing one’s infirmity comes before the cure and it seems that large blocks of the population do not yet grasp that they are being herded like sheep, more and more quickly now, toward authoritarian government control.
Freedom ebbs — as taxes and restrictive regulations increase — along with free enterprise jobs and voters.
Authoritarian rule rises — as ballooning taxes and regulations fertilize growth of the bureaucracy — along with voting majorities that support government control.

Rosetta Alcantra

Rosetta Alcantra

Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) president Keith Meyer yesterday announced his hiring of a new public/government relations chief.

Rosetta Alcantra, former President of E3 Environmental, will become AGDC’s Vice President of Communications of the government-led, North Slope natural gas pipeline & LNG project.  “I am pleased to have Ms. Alcantra join the AGDC team,” said Meyer. “As AGDC takes the leadership for the Alaska LNG project, it is important that we have qualified talent to lead our communication efforts into the future.”

Alcantra has extensive statewide experience with stakeholder engagement and cross cultural awareness. In addition to her role as President of E3 Environmental, she has served as Executive Director of United Way in Kenai and a Legislative Aide in Juneau.  Her duties will include directing and implementing the internal and external corporate communications, public and community relations, media, stakeholder engagement, and government relations.

“Rosetta has already been involved in stakeholder relations for Alaska LNG and other Alaskan oil and gas projects, so is able to hit the ground running.  I am pleased to have a strong leader for engaging the diverse stakeholders in Alaska. Understanding the perspectives and building positive relationships throughout the State will be critical for this important Alaska project,” says Meyer.  Alcantra will begin her tenure at AGDC on October 10.
