This afternoon, at 3:30pm, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement Deputy Regional Director Jeffery Loman will be one of the presenters with the University of Alaska – North by 2020’ seminar series – Defining Risk in Arctic Coastal & Offshore Resource Development. His topic: Preventing Success from Breeding Complacency. The seminar continues to explore overarching concepts of assessment and mitigation of risks applied in different settings relevant for natural resource development. Susan Childs, Alaska Sustainable Development Manager, Shell Exploration and Production Company will offer a presentation as well.
