8-2-17 We Appreciate The Heartland Institute’s Logical Positions On Energy Issues!

As a candidate for president in 2016, Donald Trump unveiled his America First Energy Plan—a bold proposal to transform the United States beyond mere energy independence. His goal was to make America a global energy power again, and that’s exactly what’s happening. Trump has already turned back years of Barack Obama’s anti-energy policies, causing the United States to once again emerge as a global energy power. This is an amazing turn of events—one that would have been impossible had Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election, and still remarkable under Trump. You must join [...]

7-13-17 Scroll down for last night’s late breaking, good news!

From our Mid-Atlantic energy analyst friend, today's observation: “The tussle for supremacy between OPEC and U.S. shale drillers is killing off older oil fields at the fastest pace in almost a quarter century. That could hurt the industry once the current glut has faded.” We blend that into include other forces that are trending to curtail future crude oil production: If one takes the cumulative increased decline of older assets together with the drying up of new annual new discovery additions (a subject for future note), plus the higher decline rates of shale wells, [...]

Yes, We Are All About Energy...   ...and while a confused tax and spend policy like Alaska's is a barrier to robust energy investment, nothing so deters energy investment as the threat of terrorism and expropriation.
