FERC’s Michael Kadish thoughtfully informs Alaskans and other stakeholders of an important upcoming gas pipeline workshop..  Staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will convene an Open Season Pre-Filing Workshop January 12, 2010, in Anchorage, Alaska, for the Alaska natural gas transportation projects. The purpose of the workshop will be to provide interested parties an opportunity to learn about and discuss the procedures and process for commenting upon and holding an open season.  For more information, see this FERC link.

 

Wings Tours, an Egyptian tour company, has carefully scheduled every minute here so that we have almost no free time that is not devoted to packing and personal care.  Son Billy’s Whitman College sponsored tour of antiquities sites in Egypt and Jordan has been exciting, educational and life changing.  In a few minutes we depart for Amman, but before then I knew that some of you would want to see a few photos (Left, Dave Harbour at AbuSimbel; below a felucca taken from our Nile cruise boat).
