In Tokyo marketing Alaska gas, Gov. Walker and team feel long shake from Japan quake
Gov. Bill Walker and four other state officials in Tokyo on a gas marketing trip Monday said they felt the big earthquake that struck off the coast of Japan. One state official said the shaking seemed to last five minutes, but everyone was fine afterward.


 

Group sues over lack of info in Alaska Railroad LNG project

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – An environmental group filed a lawsuit Monday against the Federal Railroad Administration for failing to disclose the approval process for the Alaska Railroad’s application for rail shipments of highly volatile liquefied natural gas.
