We urge readers who may be able to multi-task this week to listen to our friend, Brad Keithley’s RADIO SHOW review of the various Alaska oil and gas issues currently in motion. Here is his preview of the week, that began today!
Guest hosting AM700 KBYR The Michael Dukes Show tomorrow (Tuesday) through Thursday. Because of that not doing my usual Tuesday 7:24a segment — you will hear enough from me all three hours all three days. Instead, we will spread the focus on oil, gas & fiscal issues out a bit during the week as follows:
Tomorrow, for those up at that hour, we will be talking during the 6:24am segment about the Governor’s proposal to pay oil credits out of the Permanent Fund. Then later during the 7:44am segment we will be talking with Steven Johnson, the head of the UAA Seawolf Debate program, about an upcoming program they will be doing on state fiscal issues.
Wednesday, we will have Rebecca Logan of The Alaska Support Industry Alliance on at the 6:44am hour to talk about #AKLNG, then House District 18 Republican candidate Mike Gordon on at the 7:24am segment to talk about his campaign, followed later by KTVA 11 News reporter Liz Raines – KTVA at the8:24am segment to talk about current state news.
And then finally on Thursday we will go out in a blaze with House District 40 D candidate Dean Westlake (6:24am), The Midnight Sun editor Casey Reynolds (7:24am), House District 10 R candidate David Eastman (7:44am), Alaska Democrats spokesman Jake Hamburg (for whom my opening question will be why the Dems couldn’t spell my name right when they included it in their recent APOC complaint against Rep. Gabrielle LeDoux, 8:24am), and Wasilla Mayor Bert Cottle (8:44am).
In and around all of that we will be joined by Homer’s Chris Story (Tuesday, 6:44am), Conservative Review’s Tom Borelli (Tuesday, 7:24am), Anchorage Concert Association’s James Fredrick (Tuesday, 8:24am), Campus Reform’s Sterling Creighton Beard (Wed, 6:24am), the Institute of the North’s Nils Andreassen (Thu,6:44am) and a few other things that producer Brendon Berger and I have in mind.
Join us each day from 6-9am either locally at AM700 KBYR or online at kbyr.com. And when you have had enough of me (which hopefully won’t come before Thursday), welcome back the man whose show it is, Michael Dukes himself, on Friday. — Brad Keithley http://www.kbyr.com/
