Different Subjects, Same Tactics

The left’s tactics have some things in common, most notably that their absence of traditional values leads to conviction that, “The End Justifies The Means”.

So, we urge our readers to abandon the naive reaction in response to enviro-activism, anti-oil and gas, anti-development, anti-job creation, anti-government growth, anti-government waste, anti-border protection, anti-Trump, anti-capitalism, anti-Christian leftist action that, “Gee, I wonder why they would do that!”

Instead, our critically thinking readers should be observing, “Today they are attacking ‘xyz’ as the newest way to kill capitalism, redistribute wealth and accumulate despotic, socialist power.”   In short, they use many of the same tactics to protest, disrupt, corrupt, demonize, disable and destroy their target.

The right column will explain why the Canadian Free Press item below may be correct, but the much larger reason for growing social misbehavior is the calculated effort to destroy capitalism, redistribute wealth and accumulate power.  -dh

How Did We Get Here?, Canadian Free Press

How did our society get where we are today? Where did this profound hatred, disrespect for authority, for the rule of law, disdain for their own country, utter laziness, entitlement, anarchy, and anti-Americanism come from, especially in the younger generations who shape the future of our country?

There is no simplistic answer. The default answer is always horrible parenting or lack thereof. Parents spend less and less time with their progeny as the government takes over their education at a very early age, or are in need of behavioral reeducation themselves. Older fathers with pony tails and mothers going through menopause are raising terror children who have never been spanked or made to behave like normal, rational human beings. They scream in restaurants and public places at hours when they should be in bed while the parents try to talk to them in a calm voice to the exasperation of everyone around them, trying to enjoy themselves while celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, interrupted by howling brats.

Commentary by Dave Harbour

Here we describe how one evil philosophy with tactics to match wants to destroy our society, our freedom, our civilized way of life.  Part of that plan involves the destruction of capitalism, particularly a principle foundation of free economies: energy.  We believe it is time to get serious about the survival of freedom.  This is another contribution to that effort.  -dh

Note that by studying Alinsky’s counsel, we know the tactics of today’s enemies of freedom.  In knowing their evil tactics, shame on us if we do not develop counter-tactics.  Shame on us if we shrink back and allow our capitalist energy industries to be co opted when WE KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES!  And should we retreat like cowards and not fight, shame on us for cultivating subsidized energy industries, allies of the left, enemies of our constitutional republic.

Sir Francis Bacon advised us that, “knowledge is power.”  My great mentor and professor, Dr. John Crossett and I once agreed that since knowledge is power, it follows that, “Knowledge of you given to another gives him power over you.  Therefore, you should be discrete in whom you entrust your personal knowledge.”

In writing and publishing, “Rules for Radicals”, Alinsky gave generations of misguided followers a philosophy of, “the end justifies the means”, and acts of chaos and social upheaval which constitute the means for destroying the United States; that means destroying capitalism and taking over the most valuable means of production: energy.

As great generals have known since the time of Sun Tsu, knowledge of the enemy’s strategic and tactical plans can provide the key to their destruction.

May America’s reliance on due process, common sense, fairness and Christian charity not prevent us from recognizing reality.

Today’s reality is that survival of our republic also requires us to combat a clear and present danger about which we have been given adequate knowledge.  -dh

For our readers who do not have the time nor want the misery of reading his dangerous, little book, scroll down for some of Alinsky’s quotations which are inspiring leftist, modern-Machiavellian action in our own times.

“In the beginning the organizer’s first job is to create the issues or problems.”
Curiosity asks, “Is this true?” “Just because this has always been the way, is the best or right way of life, the best or right religion, political or economic value, morality?” To the questioner, nothing is sacred. He detests dogma, defies any finite definition of morality, rebels against any repression of a free, open search of ideas no matter where they may lead. He is challenging, insulting, agitating, discrediting. He stirs unrest.”   -SA
“Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins – or which is which), the very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer.”  -SA
“Action comes from keeping the heat on. No politician can sit on a hot issue if you make it hot enough.”
“In his Social Contract, Rousseau noted the obvious, that “Law is a very good thing for men with property and a very bad thing for men without property.”
“Do one of three things. One, go find a wailing wall and feel sorry for yourselves.  Two, go psycho and start bombing-but this will only swing people to the right. Three, learn a lesson. Go home, organize, build power and at the next convention, you be the delegatepos”
(The first category is like the majority of conservatives.  The second, like Islamic terrorists.  The third, like Obama, Soros, Podesta, Jared, Jones.  -dh)
“The sit-down strikers began to worry about the illegality of their action and the why and wherefore, and it was then the chief of all C.I.O. organizers, Lewis, gave them their rationale. He thundered, ‘The right to a man’s job transcends the right of private property! The C.I.O. stands squarely behind these sit-downs!’ The sit-down strikers at GM cheered.”
“A revolution without a prior reformation would collapse or become a totalitarian tyranny. A reformation means that masses of our people have reached the point of disillusionment with past ways and values. They don’t know what will work but they do know that the prevailing system is self-defeating, frustrating, and hopeless. They won’t act for change but won’t strongly oppose those who do. The time is then ripe for revolution”
“Political realists see the world as it is: an arena of power politics moved primarily by perceived immediate self-interests, where morality is rhetorical rationale for expedient action and self-interest.”
“Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future.”

“Ego must be so all-pervading that the personality of the organizer is contagious, that it converts the people from despair to defiance, creating a mass ego. CONFLICT”
