We have always respected both of these individuals. No one has more to gain than they do from a successful Alaska LNG project that is currently designed to terminate in their Borough.  The employment, tax and general economic benefits of such a project would be enormous. 9-2-17 The American Privilege

Today we provide a forum to Mason Weaver, an entrepreneur, speaker, author and commentator. Weaver is a Navy veteran and former contract specialist with the Department of Energy. Weaver’s latest book is "Tribalism: Truth, Right Between the Lies."  The reason we provide this commentary is that many of the tactics employed by racial tension instigators are tactics also employed by the faux environmental activists against the energy industry.  Accordingly, we urge our fellow citizens to "follow the money and power".  We urge ourselves to think critically and judge political agitators by [...]

8-28-17 Are companies ignoring history? We don’t think so, though they may be relying on hope that future investments will be safe.

"Those who ignore history...." Statoil, YPF to explore hydrocarbons in Argentina  Courtesy: PennEnergy We believe that companies investing in Alaska and Argentina today are not ignoring history.   Rather, such investment may display optimism for the policies supported by future elected leaders who, we all hope, have learned from history that punitive oil and gas policies repel investment into their economies.   Unfortunately, it may also signal that friendly and safe investor policies are rare throughout today's world.  In any case, we offer our best wishes to [...]
